Have you ever taken a bath on the hood of your car?  Of course not, but that is basically what you would be doing if your tub was refinished with a urethane based product. 

Urethane should not be utilized for refinishing of products in your home.  It is not made for skin contact, food contact, so it defintiely shouldn’t be used for your bathtub.
