Our refinishing system has been thoroughly tested, and is the most utilized refinishing process in over 100 countries worldwide. At Superior Refinishing, only an experienced, certified factory trained technician will be allowed to work in your home. We “vent out” any odors that may be perceptible during the refinishing process, and will never ask you to leave your home while we work, unlike some of our competitors.

An average bathtub re-glazing job takes about 5 hours, depending on the extent of the repairs your tub needs. A bathtub/tile or fiberglass tub and wall unit will take a full working day to complete.

Superior Refinishing takes great pride in leaving our job sites cleaner than they were when we arrived! All personal items and shower curtains are removed from the work area. The caulking around the tub is removed and replaced when the job is finished.

The process itself

Superior Refinishing utilizes a two step, factory developed process to remove any soap residue or other cotaminents. Next, any damage including chips or rust are then treated and repaired. We then mask off the surrounding area that is going to be reglazed. Plumbing fixtures, countertops and the floor are also protected.

After the surroundings are properly protected, we apply eight coats of our exclusive, chemically-bonding glaze in two brief sessions. Once this is completed and the tub is drying, we begin to remove all the masking and our equipment. Finally, we are able to re-caulk your tub and the job is complete!

You now have a beautiful, glossy tub that many of our customers “just have to” call their neighbors over to show off their “new” tub. Our most common and favorite response upon seeing a freshly reglazed tub is “WOW!! That looks better than a new tub!”
